Stating that Ducati is like Harley is worthy of a backhand fwap with a heavy glove. Ducati sells bikes to go racing. Harley sells bikes to support their t-shirt business.

6000 miles on a Panigale V4 and all I’ve done is one oil change and lube the chain. 414lbs and 214hp kinda kills all of your points there.

Surprised Ducati made the list but Harley Davidson didn't, oh wait ! You own a Harley, that explains it 😅

Let me re-title your video for you, “I envy people who actually like to ride motorcycles and I’m on my weekly period”

Just figured out my dream bike based on your lesson.
A special edition Ducati sportbike (probably 916) with carbs and no title, turned into a project bike. Hell yeah!!!

When carbs mess up, you limp it home and fix it. When FI messes up, you call for a trailer and break out your wallet. Don't diss on the carbies because you suck at it.

Title should be “Spite roasts every single bike other than naked bikes”

So I own an old carburated Ducati super sport which is also a special edition bike and a project at the moment. 👌

LOL I was riding motorcycles before fuel injection was a thing

If you're having to mess with your carburetors every couple of months, you're doing it wrong 🤣

Injection does have a few advantages though

Restored a classic honda c200 with my dad, the guy said it would never run. Last run in 1974 and now she can hit 55 on a hill!. Really enjoy learning the old way of bikes.

For having driven my dad's 2004 Ducati Monster 1000
You simply don't find neutral.
You fiddle with the pedal until the light flashes green, usually after the 5th try and 2 stalls

Reminds me of the type of person dont have much budget but so picky on things and also often laugh at others who are willing to spend more money than him

I've been riding bikes since the 1970s. ALL of them had carbs until recently, and I never had to touch the carbs in all that time (and yes, I did do virtually all my own maintenance - including a full strip down of an EXUP). I didn't balance the carbs, but that was something I left to a pro who had the guages. Seeing as that was only done IIRC, every 48, 000 miles, it hardly classifies as a biggy. The idea that you would fiddle with your carbs on a regular basis makes me think that you have no idea.

I can imagine how silly the producer of this clip must feel seeing Ducati winning the MotoGP 2020 Constructors' World Championship!

Carbs do NOT have to be stripped and cleaned constantly. Really.
