You know what’s sad, is you can tell he really internalized a lot of what happened to him, that he was hard on himself and maybe held himself to unfair standards given the cards he was dealt. The fact that he seems so shocked about whether he ever really has succeeded is wild because it looks so different to everyone and he really morphed into his big characters so much that I don’t think anyone else could have did those characters justice.

Not everyone has the ability to memorize a person's name with their image. Besides, facial expressions make it easier to recognize someone than facial features. You can go to concert and the interviewers can have so much make up that without a label, you wonder if they are lookalikes or the actual television personalities.
