It’s not even a good joke response. It isn’t edgy or subversive, or clever or cute; it’s just weird. Like, maybe if she had said, “Manchester by the Sea, ” it would be clear that she’s joking about laughing through a sad movie. But why would she laugh through Shawshank Redemption? Like, it actually does have some levity and comic relief, so she’s not being subversive. Girl, workshop your material with a funny person and not just your edgelord husband 😘

It’s notable how this gorgeous woman is such a try hard.
Trying so hard to be cool and sarcastic.
And how annoying that snotty smirk on her face is.
How she practiced these lines before being filmed when answering them.

I sure love TSwifty and her beautiful music.
And I know her relationship choices are none of my business.
But I sure don’t admire her friendship with this well known mean girl.
And also from a mental health perspective, RR doesn’t seem to even like her, much less love her.
He appears to have an obvious agenda of having everything for himself and insisting his wife play a lesser role.
