For those who are wondering, bose released a software updated, so you can use the left or right earbud independently. That being said, I bought a pair, I love them. 😍

Just a warning to anyone considering clicking on the link to the sound Prepare to be hooked for hours. In some respects the Airpods pro 2 sound like they're missing something but compared to the others, they make the vocals sound so natural whereas the others sound either veiled or boosted. That was fun. I'll have to try again with a different pair of headphones next.

The AirPods Pro 2 do not fit my right ear no matter what I do. I always have to keep thinking about it falling out and it always oozes out. I returned them and got the Bose qc 2 and I have to say I love them. They fit great and noise cancelling is the best. I don’t care about wireless charging as I don’t have that and I never really wear just one earbud (even if I did it would just be the right ear) so both of the cons are pretty moot for me. Yes they are 300 but to me they are worth it because of the Bose signature sound, the secure fit, the versatility of the buds to wear at home or at the gym comfortably, and being the anc king.

Great comparison! I was interested primarily in the size of the earbuds because I work in a loud industrial setting and although I am allowed to wear earbuds and listen to what I want, I also use a set of hearing protectors over the earbuds. The profile is very important as even a little pinching will be annoying over the course of a shift. So thank you. The Bose QC2 seems to fit my needs, although I’ll have to buy a pair to find out. Again, thank you.

Awesome back-to-back audio comparisons Aaron!
If you still do your own yard work, the QC IIs are crazy-good. I can't even hear my lawn tractor idling from 5ft away! Leaf blower, crazy-quiet. I had non-anr JLbuds w/ foam tips for the last 3 years. Always had to crank volume to hear music. The Bose are in a totally different league and wish I had spent the $ years ago. My ears have never fit standard airpods, so I leaned towards the QC IIs. Incredibly good fit w/ the smallest tips, but the largest backs. That adjustability is another huge win. I think the AirPods 2 win w/ form-factor & technology options for those that don't need ultimate noise reduction and ear-fit. Wow, technology has come a LONG way!!

I currently have bose gen1 and am very happy with them, despite the fact of the huge case and the battery not being great. The sound quality is unbeatable.

The biggest issue with master-slave pairing (in Which 1 earbud is connected via the other one to the phone) is that if there is a battery drain issue with the master earbud, the entire setup will stop working due to it.

A couple of years ago, I had Bose SoundSport Free truly wireless earbuds and they faced this issue. The Master (Right Earbud) had battery drain issue and because of which the left couldn’t connect as well. It never got resolved. Bose India Customer Service never gave a fruitful reply. Never bought a Bose product since.

One major reason to go QC2 for me is that they will eventually see a temporary price drop during the various shopping seasons of the year while AP2's only ever see a markdown if the world is going to end or if the AP3's come out. Apple never puts stuff on sale unless they're getting rid of old inventory.

Great video!! I'll put down some of my thoughts here as well to help some viewers :)

I've bought the Sony XM4, the Sony Linkbuds S and the Bose QC2. For sound quality, since you can EQ them, I'd say they can get a good sound signature for what you like. It's not perfetct, but it's a TWS. Some compromises have to be made lol
None of them have a bad sound signature. All of them are very bassy out of the box, imo

I can't use the Sony XM4, after 1 hour my ears start hurting on the side of my ear. Tried different tips and the result is the same. I'll won't be keeping this one.

The Sony Linkbuds S have the best call quality as they have a great microphone with noise reduction so the person on the other end of the call can hear my voice much better. I'll keep this for calls

The Bose QC2s have the best ANC I've ever tried. I've had the Bose QC35 and QC45 as well. I was just on a 10hr flight and while the battery didn't die, it was just amazing how they drown out the surroundings. One thing I really liked is that during the call, the ANC is still very present and helps to hear better, but the microphone doesn't reduce as much noise as the Linkbuds S. During calls, the Linkbuds S's ANC is toned down a lot. I was testing call quality with my girlfriend and I was calling at a café where there was music in the background: I was using first the Linkbuds S then I switched to the Bose. She said she didn't even know there was music in the background when I was using the Linkbuds S. Great job on the Sony Linkbuds S here!

For comfort, both Sony Linkbuds S and Bose QC2 are great. The Bose QC2 have a better 'stability'.

Hope this helps other viewers. Cheers :)

I think the new firmware updates have helped a lot of these issues/complaints. They just needed a little more time to get the software worked out I'm thinking. I don't have hardly any complaints currently, and they are now an upgrade over my QC1's.

Really good review/comparison, thanks! Definitely the best noise-cancelling, but gosh the calls were so much better with the AirPods Pro 2😅 I also felt like the music sounded better with the AirPods Pro 2, so they felt like a better all-round product.

Cool, I listened without looking and when it came to the sound of music I found the Air Pods Pro 2 by far the best every single time :)
ANC was a tad better on the new Bose though.
PS the Air Pods 2 also had the best sound in a phone call.

Is it really that much of a difference when you pair buds 2 pro with a Samsung and a non-samsung phone? In terms of sound quality.

For me I prefer the Airpods Pro 2, which is what I got, because it’s better for phone calls, and more practical to carry around. For me the true importance of noise canceling is for working on my desk or on the go in an airplane or bus, and for that my Bose QC serves me way better, because its light and extremely comfortable, and has great ANC. I’d much rather spend this money on a future upgrade to my headset than an earbud set, but that’s just me 😊 thanks for the detailed review!

Ive never taken a call on headphones, never used just one, and dont even use touch controls however, no multipoint pairing is a dealbreaker.

Came back to this video as I was thinking of getting the AirPods. I currently have the linkbuds S, is the graph at 7:38 saying the AirPods have more bass than the linkbuds? Would this be the same if I increase the clear bass on the linkbuds?

For me it's Bose, and always has been regardless of case size, battery life, earbud weight and even purchased the QC I Knowing the earbud fit was still as horrific and awkward as the sport sound.
Because what's important to me is the quality of sound.

It's their specific sound and how by default it's accustom to my preference of music taste by delivering very well on the top end of the frequencies to hear clear, delicate intricacies amongst specifically percussion that too much bass could/would easily drown out.
The bass can always be adjusted to support various genres and tuned well beyond if needed and that's always been the case with media player EQ or by the Bose app.

But that's my preference of EQ and how I choose which brand of headphones to go with.
I remember buying Dr Dre Beats because I thought they'd be amazing...yes amazing for some of the Bass heavy stuff I listen to. but realistically what a waste of money for me. But evidently that's Dres default preferred sound.

You should always buy which product emphasizes and supports your style of music best. That's of course you buy headphones primarily for music.

There's no such thing as "best" when it comes to this stuff.
Someone can't force a sound on me i know isn't right for me or convince me it's better.

"Wah wah wah Yeh but my case is .5cm shorter and case battery is 3.5 hours longer".
These things are getting stupid small now, that larger case by .5Cm or extra 4hours of case charge isn't going to be an issue at any point for you, not with how accessible USB/power sockets are plus the quick charge.
I actually miss having the case size of the QC I as it told me battery levels which I would like to know.
In fact overall i would prefer a slightly bigger case if it were to offer stronger protection to my £250 product and a slightly longer battery/added features.

Most kids who own these products won't know the days of struggle spending £12 on a multi pack of AA batteries for about a Weeks worth of play on a personal CD player, let alone the quality of the headphones...don't even go there

It's now features for the sake of having features

I'm considering buying the Bose QC Earbuds II, I got Jabra 75th and Sony M4 (they so quiet).
And I'm wonder if they worth it, I'm looking for a earsbuds that will amazing for music.

Dang… crazy how bad the QC II are with blocking out mic sounds in the noisy mic test.
