And who sets on a long car journey with a young child when both parents are “almost incapacitated?” That shows terrible parenting and safety judgment! Car crash waiting to happen if things were that bad...
And saying he had “no alternative!” Rubbish! Tell that to the legions of parents who’ve been making tough decisions in lockdown for months...

I would like to say thank you for helping myself and your nation, I would hate your job right now Boris as you can't please everyone just do what is right in your heart and gut instinct. You have a child of your own now so I know that you will do the right thing.

Peston's sigh at the end of his interview says it all.

What a train wreck of a briefing.By far the worst briefing, in the whole sad story.Sorry that’s my fourth comment. But as a Tory voter all my life, I am absolutely incensed. And disappointed at a man, that I foolishly thought had integrity. Any other PM would have asked for his resignation .And he had the Gaul to dismiss the people asking the questions. Everyone else who take the briefings ask if there is a follow up question. Not Boris. He was out of his depth.

So now we know why he supported knew at this moment that Boris had broken the rules himself as well as another 100 guests at the party in Boris's back garden.

Interesting opening to your speach Boris, considering 48 hours ago you were recovering from a hangover following an illegal party in your garden !!

Dear PM and Team

Please stay Strong and Continue to do your best in leading us and taking the country forward in a positive manner. Not forgetting your health not that long ago!! Astounding how you have literally bounced back

Too many opinions out there, dare I say negative, far too promptly. All ego driven, and not in the interest of the people for the greater good and vision of the bigger picture
Dare I say this may all be down to fear.

I Hope&Pray You All Do Not Take on board the very sad&unfortunate negativity.

You have the great support of reasonable people.

Much strength&support in your direction, especially not an easy position. You are doing a great job. Certainly not an easy

Cummings? Sack the prat! It is that simple. You don’t need to “Interview “ him at length. He broke the rules. If we as ordinary people had done that we would have had a large fine! Just dismiss the question, and the person asking the question.and move on to the next person. Who asks the same question and dismiss them as well. God Almighty.

I am not a believer, but ready to pray for miracle that will save UK with such an incompetent leadership! :(

You have lost the respect of the nation and the world in the same day.

Boris, I'd like to ask you a question, that you avoided answering.

One of the biggest employers in Barnard Castle is a company called GlaxoSmithKline, who have recently signed a letter of intent with the french company Sanofi, to collaborate with them, to contribute their pandemic adjuvant technology to Sanofi's recombinant DNA technology.
Did Dominic Cummings visit Barnard Castle, and if so, did he visit either the GlaxoSmithKline site, or an employee thereof?

How much longer is the geezer going to get in the way of the graphs FFS ??

Typical - we do not see him for an age (see yesterdays comment for my question) but as soon as 'one of theirs' pops up in trouble it's roll the old boys gang to defend him. One rule for them one for us.
Anyone any idea why I voted for them? Serious brain fart moment there - sorry folks.

Robert Peston didn't seem satisfied with that response 🤔

100% needs sacking. No normal member of the public would have got away with this.

How bloody stupid that the guy doing the signing is blocking the Graph. It is 2020.Surely this can get sorted out.Do they even look at any comments On their live stream? Absolutely ridiculous, this has been pointed out by many over the last few days.Is it too much to ask.
