Taylor's last line "I guess when you got nothing better to do, you'll find anything to occupy yourself" sums up the in-universe show perfectly. The only reason why ONE and the Plane exist is because Airy got bored and decided to make the plane because he had nothing better to do. When you're stuck somewhere and you're bored of all your other options, you'll do anything to occupy yourself.

Isn't that exactly how everyone feels about the ending of ONE? In the spirit of staying realistic, that's where it has to land and it was entirely intentional!

I cannot overestimate how realistic the dialogue is in this whole series, the awkward pauses, each character's different reactions, it's perfect, simply perfect, huge congrats to the voice actors and ofc hfj for giving us this!

OKAY THAT WAS A LOT-

First off, it’s awesome that we got to see Ava’s object! It’s really cool to see that she’s some type of recording device. I love her development throughout the series, and how nice she is to characters like Taylor and Parker, and understands that they’re going through a lot.

Second off, CRAZY HOW AIRY GOT THE INFO ABOUT THE CONTESTANTS FRIENDS AND FAMILIES THROUGH SECURITY CAMS IN THE POLICE STATION- That’s probably how he got the rest of the contestants too, through security cameras either at their work, school, or maybe cams in the cities they were in. Goes to show how much of a tech wiz Airy is, and how thorough he got while attempting to make season 3.

3rd of all, thanks for making this short series Cheesy! It’s fun to see the other characters who didn’t get a lot of screen time in the actual show. It was also really fun to see all the characters emotions and feelings throughout the cases. The guest animations were especially divine, those really captured their own mindsets and were just really mesmerizing, they remind me of bumpers you’d see on Adult Swim.

All in all, this show is awesome :)

THE PLOT THICKENS. When I saw how short Owen's interview was and that there was still 3 minutes left on the video, I knew I was in for a treat.

Honestly, after this mini series I think Ava became my new favorite character. Throughout the series her passion and motivation to do the investigation was fading away, but it wasn't because she was bored, or because she thought the case was hopeless or fake, but because she genuinely wanted SOMETHING that would help with the case, and give Taylors story some credit. She's such a sweet detective, she stuck through to the end, treated everyone with respect and honesty, and even kept believing in Taylor despite getting barely any information from anyone. Personally I wish something was found out or Ava could've helped out Taylor so much more, but knowing ONE, it's no surprise to get something bittersweet. Thank you for making this miniseries. I really enjoyed it, and hope to see more great projects from you. :)

I love how this wasn’t even really about Owen. It was nice to finally see Ava, though, and obviously getting Owen’s last name revealed was fun. Also, confirmation that the person behind the website was writing S3 up, like, a month after S2 was happening, and had access to the interviews somehow… hmmm…
