Exactly. Lucid is not competing with Tesla, not trying to steal Tesla's market share. From the beginning Lucid has aimed at the German luxury brands. Their vehicle are costly, and that only makes sense for a startup that will have limited production capacity for a number of years as they grow.

He is exactly right about the crowds the car draws. My Air GT draws people and questions wherever I stop. Even in traffic people shout questions or try to take pictures while driving by. The car demands attention. I wasn't quite ready for that. And no, I would not hand it over to a valet any more than I would a Ferrari.
