I’ve been walking 6 miles per day (around 12, 800+ steps) every day for the last 10 years. I do it early in the morning 6-8 am, and don’t really view as exercise — just a great way to start the day.

You're speaking my language! At 69, hip replacement, and lifelong knees with osteochondritis; 10k steps daily, plus strength training 3x/wk I'm gonna live until i die! HA

What timing, I lift weights at the gym 3x's per week but just started a fast-paced walk/jog around the neighborhood for 1/2 hour early morning the past 2 weeks and I feel SO much better adding that in!

I walk 8000- 12, 000 steps per day about 3-3.5 mph and keep my heart rate about 60% work load. I am 62 and I had a heart attack five weeks ago and am back up to 3-4 miles a day . My cardiologist said two things helped me survive: my heart was in bread cardio shape and I went to the ER quickly. I will never quit moving. I have been a type 2 diabetic for 20 years and eat a clean low carb diet. Thank you so much for your videos. I

I’m 55 yo post menopausal woman, I’ve been trying to build muscle and lose fat since July. Once I increased my steps from 10, 000 per day to 12, 000 per day I was able to get below 18 % body fat. The interview with kino body was quite helpful, but love all your stuff, Thomas.

10k steps/day is great, even better if you get as many of those in a natural setting away from the mechanical noises of urban life

Being outside you will also gain red-light therapy, which has recently shown the positive effects on blood glucose levels.

Man I'm a mail carrier and I walk anywhere from 10 to 40, 000 steps a day and everything he said I agree with the ONLY question I would have is how much is too much?!?! Like it can't be good to walk that many miles day after day after day!!!

Walking is way better than running for fat loss in my experience. It’s so easy passive and there’s no recovery component to it

Don't be afraid to intend your puns!

Doing any video on heavy metal detox?

Asking you specifically because of how thorough and nerdy you look at things, and I have heard that with metals, you have to do it right or they just redistribute inside.

I noticed on days that I Mow half the lawn, I end up walking 3.2 miles or approx 5500 steps. It’s only 1/2 acre btw. I was shocked.

I was recently asked how I can eat so much and stay skinny. My response was I walk 14000 steps per day. My Dad is 82 and is still overnight backpacking in the mountains. He is a big walker

If you have office strains, walking 10K steps fixes you right up. I ran 5km+ every day for 2 months and got lean enough for abs & gutters and I don't have easy abs. 10K steps is ~ 5km. Oddly enough homeostasis improved. Never too hot, cold, thirsty, tired. Never hungry. I ate mostly carbs but was in a deficit so probably gained some fast switching in/out of ketosis.
