Mr. Peters, to me, you are as iconic as a he house hippo. Ever since I found your channel I’ve believed that you need a little tv commercial segment to tell stories. You have the voice of a man here to tell me of a Canadian Heritage Minute. Thank you for the research and effort you put into your videos for us.

Wow, this is going to be a re-watchable/ re-listenable video! Love how you broke it down into 12 parts with multiple "chapters" each.

As an Alaskan I love learning Canadian lore/history. I get tired of the regurgitated stories from the Lower 48. Thanks as always, Hammerson rules! 🤘🦶

I am naught but a lowly Florida attorney that has no idea if Sasquatches are real or not, but I do know one thing for certain:
It’s a fool who dismisses the evidence outright and claims with certainty that Sasquatches do not exist. At the very least one must provide evidence of an alternative explanation that doesn’t rest upon the misidentification of bears. The longevity of sightings, the high number of native tribes separated by geographical location and cultural differences that all claim the creatures as fact, and the accolades of certain scientific minds that see the validity in the existence of Sasquatches leaves the doors of possibility wide open such that Sasquatches cannot be grouped together with the likes of unicorns and leprechauns.

I pose a idea that Sasquatch are sub aquatic like hippos they walk through water not swim and they use rivers and underwater access to caves and hide their existence and only make nocturnal land activity, this could explain the lack of evidence of bodies or dens being found? But this could bring a new horror to the idea of “rogue logs” dragging people swimming under or just currents, Native American stories of Ongiaras (Iroquois): Known as "big feet, " these entities are linked to waterfalls and water sources. The name alone hints at a Sasquatch-like figure, and their aquatic association could inspire a version of Sasquatch adapted to life near or in water.

Hi all. I'm glad that you were able to compile this to replace the other video. That said, gibberish is a difficult language to decipher (4:00). The vernacular varies between individuals, as does the syntax. I confess I have never mastered it. 😉

The wild people have hearts like us, they feel, they love. May they help us foster a deeper and more respectful relationship with nature.

Sasquatch are a real flesh and blood people, but can operate within spirit. They have a spoken language but can mindspeak. Some sasquatch can read your inner most thoughts and effect your dreams. Shadows that think, the heart of the wild beats through them.

Sasquatch are guardians of the unseen, guides on forgotten paths, teachers of timeless wisdom. To some, their majesty echoes memories of revered deities, hidden now, yet ever-present.

I am privileged to know a few sasquatch by name and they know mine....

cannibalism was common amongst all the Indian tribes - after a conflict the dead enemy was dismembered and eaten - this was a way of assuming their abilities as they would a powerful animal
