Grimes, also known as Claire Boucher, has filed a legal petition in a California court on September 29, 2023, to address matters related to the parental relationship of her three children with ex-partner Elon Musk. This legal action seeks to establish the legal parental status of their children, given that the couple was never married. While the case is public, the specifics within the filings have been kept confidential, and Elon Musk has not yet responded to Grimes' petition. Notably, Grimes has not requested child support or custody rights at this stage. The Canadian artist and entrepreneur, aged 35, and the Tesla co-founder, aged 52, were in an on-and-off relationship from 2018 until their final separation in September 2021.
