I have always thought that the Americans were some what slightly unhinged. However, I was then informed by someone who understood the American workforce pay circumstances by which he explained that part of their pay is often in shares of the employing company and those shares pay for their lifestyle costs such as boats, college tuition for them and their children, house payments, their divorce support payments, etc. So if I was there and I am thinking this news being announced is making me very wealthy then, even as a uptight Englishman, I can assure you I will be dancing like Ellen on crack.
