Dude, very good call introducing UNIX & Linux in this tutorial - you had some good foresight there, & the commands you demonstrate are ones that at first I figured I'd never use when I start learning Bash 15 years ago, but are in fact commands I use daily. The command line just makes the Linux experience entirely unique and teaches the user a great deal. This is a very well put together tutorial

Hey Caleb, can you please tell me how i can set the default directory? When i put pwd command, it only shows /Users/JD. I moved my previous terminal files into a directory i made but still it does not change. Thank you

Why would someone make an operating system (in today's time) where you need a command prompt to do this stuff, when you can just have an easy to use file explorer like in Windows? Is it because it requires less RAM?
