Walking in Tegucigalpa (Honduras)

Tegucigalpa , commonly referred to as Téguz, is the capital and largest city of Honduras along with its twin sister Comayagüela.

Claimed on 29 September 1578 by the Spaniards, Tegucigalpa became the country's capital on October 30, 1880 under President Marco Aurelio Soto.

This is a wonderful video. Powerful. Puts us right in the middle of the capital of Honduras. OK the camera doesn't take us to the outlying neighborhoods that don't look this nice. But it shows a real part of this big town. Cars, streets, pavement, maids coming out of cars, neighbors unconcerned with approaching steps. Life goes on. Transmission cables. Old election posters. Like so many Latin American and Mexican towns I have walked through.

Only two places I'm worried about in Latin America, that is walking around Venezuela and the big cities on Honduras. It's nice to see you walking around here.

Walking around Tegus everyday on my own you just have to be careful but its not as bad as they say ;-)

Great video as usual dude!! Did you get to know the reason why that guy was telling you not to film and that it was forbidden?? I guess you were probably aware of the high crime rates around Honduras, but as I can see you seemed pretty calmed walking around everywhere!
