Can Pro's Ride Old Bikes?

Honestly 1990+ mx bikes are much closer to modern 2 strokes then you think. So close theyre still more capable then what most riders can get out of them. The older you go, the more suspension starts to decrease capability but things can usually be riden harder then your average person is able to.

He has inverts on his old bike .. and all of the 2strokes you are calling old ( including the Husky which I owned that bike in the 100th anniversary and I wish I still had itv) are still lighter quicker revving lighter clutched and far more nimble then any modern 4 stoke ! Those cats can ride regardless of what you put them on !!

The xl later got modern USD forks. The husky is modern, any scoot 89 and up is modern. The 89 cr is the mold for all modern bikes. The 1990 kx 250 is the modern perimeter framed bike design for modern bikes..hell, an 87 cr series bike will compete with modern 2 strokes, no problem. 👍🤠🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I grew up being scared shitless of the XR 500. Full frame conversion over to lightweight aluminum. My father put so much money into that bike, learning to respect that Beast, makes these new bikes like child play

The only bike that's disadvantaged is the xl. The other 2 are new enough to handle exactly like a modern bike. The trials on a cr is impressive though because it has no flywheel weight or low end and is in no way built for trials.

My mate used to have a cg125 with knobbly tyres I had a cr 250 he’d still keep up with me in the woods ! Good old Guy.
