20 year ago, I used to work right next door to Factory Five in Wareham, MA. Every time I see a FF Cobra, the engine sounds like thunder with those side pipes, especially with the 427.

Growing up my dad always had V8’s, I loved riding with him. there isn’t a better sounding engine to me. (many would argue that) I watched this video with heavy base EarPods. Wow man! Truly wonderful. Video getting saved for replay:). Another great review! Nice one Rory.

I met Carroll Shelby at Lime Rock Park in the 90s and told him that the Cobra was my 2nd favorite car in the world, and that hasn't changed in over 25 years. desperately hope to get a replica at some point.

The 427 and I believe the 289 also were still marketed in the UK (and probably overseas) under the AC badge. Probably just as rare if not rarer than the Shelby-badged cars. AC also put out various homages over the years.

I used to autocross a lot back in the 1970's in the San Diego area. One day a guy showed up with a real 427 Cobra. I got a ride in it around the course. WOW That's a car I really loved, but only for about 1 hour at a time. 😅
