Convert single image to 3D with TripoSR in ComfyUI AI, comparison to CRM

In this tutorial I walk you through a basic TripoSR workflow in ComfyUI. With TripoSR you can create simple 3D models from single images. I also make a quick comparison with a CRM workflow I showed in a previous video.

Be sure to update your ComfyUI to the newest version and install the needed models and custom nodes which are linked below.

Do I need to generate a Tripo API Key for this workflow?

Can you upload a character modelsheet and have the 3d model made from that?

Or multiple images; front, side, back, quarter

I am getting constant "loading scene" in the viewer and it seems nothing is happening. Please help anybody 🤖

The models have bad topology. Not useable for practical use as is.
