Fact is. The more developed the country is, the more crimes they record. Sweden has a huge number of recorded rapes. But that's only because Swedish society makes it safe for women to come out and say they were raped, and they also account for the number of times they were raped by the same person. For example if someone got kidnapped and raped for yesrs in America it'll add 1 rape case to the total rape cases in the country. In sweden they'll try to find out how many times it happened during those years and they'll count each one as a seperate rape.

I was in France for 1 week and me and my family almost got robbed one times. We were on the metro and somone "dropped" his glasses. It looked super sus so we all had eyes on him. Meanwhile another man took my dads wallet. Some other guy started screaming in France and instantly everyone was on the guy who took the wallet. We had no idea what happened but my mother saw the guy holding the wallet and she snatched it back. After that the two thiefs got pushed of the train violently and everything went back to normal. People really do seem used to this happening in France.
