One of those timeless melodies!! Such a great video too... incredible how 62 years ago they got it together! With no computers, no internet, no fancy equipment... just a bunch of young guys making music together...the real deal... love it!!

I don't know who produced and/or directed this video, but they were genius! So ahead of their time. This is just a riveting masterpiece of time travel. I absolutely love this video.

I was so stunned by "Apache" when I first heard it in Poland I have never forgotten it. But I was also curious why Jerry Lordan (who wrote this melody) chose to call it "Apache." So when I eventually came to New Mexico, I decided to study 19th-century Apache Indians. Now I know why Apache Indians could have inspired such a magical, immortal instrumental. That its release coincided with the rise of the Shadows and the new Fender guitar is beyond magic.

This band doesn’t need a singer. The electric guitar does all the singing for them.

I’m 74 years old now, I remember my buddy and I listened to this 45 when we were about 12 years old.

This is one of the earliest recordings of this track.  The truly great Hank (Brian) Marvin and Bruce Welch.  A piece of musical history - never - NEVER - to be deleted !

Dragging main street in the 55 Chevy, windows down, the old AM /FM radio at full blast so loud it would vibrate the dash board. What a great time it was for all of us who got to live in that time period. I wish I could have do overs, I would gladly do it again.

Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Brian May and Tony Iommi, each and every single one of them changed people's perspective of what an electric guitar could do. But I think that Hank Marvin should be in that list as well, he's the OG BAD ASS!

Nothing can beat the original of Apache by The Shadows. 60 years old now. And still I love to hear it.

I remember dancing to this when I was 15 at the “Youth Center” in my hometown. It’s amazing how music can imprint on your heart, and take you back for a moment in time. This is one of those songs.
