We recently had the chance to visit Lingenfelter Performance Engineering in Wixom, MI where COO and VP of Operations Mark Rapson showed us around the facility, which specializes in Corvette and Camaro car and engine work. While we were there, the team was breaking in a 454 cid LS7 engine on the dyno for a road racing application. It's our Engine of the Week brought to you by @penngrade1motoroil830, @elringdasoriginaland NPW Companies.

My LS7 454 1974 over the counter LS 7 454 made 590hp then, 870 now solid roller Oliver rods Wiseco, 14 to 1 compression heads are ported, titanium intake valves, severe duty, stainless exhaust valves other than that, it looks just like it did when it came out of the crate

What a badass SBC!! One of the kings of endurance racing! Its unbelievable Lingenfelter builds them for 3 years of torture before a refresh!😮😍😍👌👌🇺🇲🇺🇲💪💪. Already amy other company does that! Such a badass company!

Never could understand why GM would reuse the LS7 designation, it was a BBC, Im guessing there's a Gen Zero person involed in the copycating of the term
