Could just be me but I thought that the Candy Canes one could link very well into the "Adult Swim" programming strand due to the sheer zaniness of it, I could be grasping at straws but the animation style gave me a sort of Gravity Falls/Rick and Morty kind of vibe to it.

american here. the 2018 and 2019 sets of idents used by this channel made me angry, not because theyre bad (far from it), but it made me realize just how lazy most television here is. i spent most of my childhood watching tv channels (especially my younger childhood), and i don't think i can recall any idents i saw during that period (the only ones i remember are the adult swim ones, but that's part because i wasnt allowed to watch them). now that i think about it more, i dont think i can remember much about what i even watched on tv at all. the only thing i can remember was when i ran downstairs crying to my brother because they tested the alert system while i was watching that movie with the dog (wallace and gromit?) on cartoon network.
our television here is so lazy. most channels don't have idents, only station identification slides ("you're watching [station]" with the only thing on screen being a logo). the idents in this video (and the previous one) inspire me, they make me want to make stuff. these are COOL. i want to share these with my friends and family.

I personally hated the candy cane ident. Seriously, seeing all the brilliant and fun idents, it’s completely heartbreaking to end on such a terrible ident. The music’s obnoxious, the end results of the candy cane trees being cut is just so plain, it’s all just a bad ident in my eyes.
