Fun Fact: One time one of my teachers had a student with a tongue piercing that he kept clicking against his teeth. She warned him about it saying that his tooth will crack if he kept doing it but he didn’t listen. So my teacher Emailed his mom to tell her about how he could crack his tooth and the mom just yelled at her saying that it was his choice bla bla bla. Then one day he was doing it again and his tooth cracked and flung across the room and then he was taken to a dentist’s office to get help. The mom emailed my teacher saying that she was going to sue my teacher for not warning her about how that could happen but she didn’t so we good now.

Ok but, if in real live the person that is going to make you the tongue piercing actually wants to insert the needle from above, RUN AWAY. You're supposed to insert it from the bottom of the tongue so you can avoid blood vessels and make shure you're choosing a good spot for the piercing.
