FSX - Beauty of Active Sky Next - Tropical Storm Nathan

Wanted to show the power and beauty of Active Sky Next using live weather data. Chose a tropical storm called Nathan off the NE coast of Australia. Storm starts building midway through the video! Simply stunning!!!

Cool video! The lighting flashes reflecting off the plane is killer awesome! Active sky next is available for Fsx-steam edition (which is what I use) so I will buy it. I was debating on buying Rex architecture for weather but I think I will go with AS next.

too bad ASN won't develop for Xplane. It's so much better than any weather generator. I loved it when I was using FSX.

2:40 you dont have to choose ASN, even if you use clear skies, it will default to ASN

your using it on fsx, try to use it on p3d ;) you can get the academic for low price if you are short on spends
iam using it v3.4, its aint bad at all, true the flight dynamics are improved from fsx but the flight model is the biggest difference, i flown in real life and it was accurate for the way the plane flew in the simulator, more turbulance in real life tough, yea, xplane has it all but looks and feels the same in many aspects when you use different addons
