You can find super credits in the missions, you can also use medals to unlock super credits, so really You don't have to pay real money for anything. You just have to grind for it.

Short answer: Yeah
Long answer: Hell Yeah!

One thing worth noting about the Battle passes is they're not time-locked, you can complete them whenever.

Considering that I have all the battle passes and still have 3k super credits without buying anything else other than the base game, doesn’t paint a good picture of your review. There are more than enough opportunities in the game to get the super credits required to get the bonus content that you think are gated behind a paid wall.

I have to mention that the battle pass thing isn't really a battle pass like the ones that add locked missions or locked characters because you can earn the super credits really fast running around collecting them from POI's. You get them so fast you can unlock all the "Premium Warbonds" and still have enough to buy the specials they offer for 72hrs. Then you run into the issue alot of the Day One players are having... they have nothing to spend them on so they don't even bother to pick them up... Just like the green samples capped at 500 with everyone else. Nothing left to buy.

This video's using footage of unreleased content for the upgrades on the super destroyer :P

I appreciate your honest opinion on the game it was fair. It sucks that randoms bring in their crappy attitude to an environment that is supposed to be for fun and getting to know each other as gamers. But I guess that's how the cookie crumbles. I want to get the game really bad but I'm not looking forward to losing because of randoms. definitely turns me away from buying it. This is a tough decision lol

After making the big decision to get this game i slowly start to regret it. Divers that are supposed to be defending the galaxy and be "badass" but the weapons are so terrible it provides no real diversity in what players choose to use. Resulting in a lot of players using the same or similar loadout. On top of that you can tell they don't test the patches they push out to put. The warbonds concepts are cool but are poorly executed and have terrible damage output. If you're a player who like level 1-5 difficulty then this might be out for there isn't many threats to defend yourself from. But Levels 6+ is just a hassle, breaches and patrols are terrible. Not to mention the devs push to use stratagems but imply modifiers that increase stratagem cooldowns on top of the long cooldowns for stratagems that are actually effective against massive enemies. Reload times and ammo capacity is absolutely terrible. There is more time spent in a fight reloading and running away than there is fighting back. The concept of the game is awesome and will never take anything away from that but the risk/grind versus the reward is not worth it. I just cant wait for Warhammer 40k to come out this year so i can drop this game. helldivers has a lot of work that needs done before it gets even close to what it was at launch. that is if they actually listen to their player base and make the game fun.

I PERSONALLY got bored pretty quickly with this game, even tho I enjoy PvE shooters, the gameplay loop felt awful for ME, like after 2 missions I wanted to just close the thing. I mean the game never looked interesting to me and played it to really see if I would like it and man it's so boring FOR ME lmao. I guess playing with just one person did not help at all too.

Not a bad game most definitely, a bit thin on some aspects like weapons and customization but definitely worth a shot if you have a squad lock and loaded. A part of me can't avoid thinking this game is where it is now because call of duty and battlefield players are fed up with their games and they didn't want to try out other stuff of battlebit remastered or lowkey the people who say stuff like "gaming is dead/gaming isn't fun" and turns out they only play CoD and competitive games.

To each their own tho, I don't like playing with other people so it's counterproductive lol.

Is it a similar (play) experience to pre canceled battlefront 2 (EA)

I have opened 2 battle passes just by finding super credits in the game.

The gaming experience is different for some! People are saying the game is fixed and the buffs are amazing. Unless you are in that group that got a different patch of the other side of the coin. What is good for some is a nightmare for others. I spent the day crashing and when I am playing the AI is at an all time high aggressive state. People in the groups I played in were rage quitting bc of the charger hoards. I was fighting off groups of 3 and four chargers on level 6. I used to play at level 7 or 8 until today after the patch came out. I bumped down because the AI was to over whelming. The developers have to know there are two completely different experiences going on. Which side of the coin are you on?

whats the end game content for hell divers? like what are you working towards, could anyone compare it to another game?

This is a great overview and exactly what I needed. I think I would wait until it hits $20.

I would have to play with randoms and I don’t want to have to make a discord account just to have good partners.

Also BP stuff sounds like the typical stuff you deal with on F2P games

and again, the nixter is BANG ON right!
you know the real tragedy of this game and why it became SUCH a hypesuccess?
....because it is what games used to be. and its an amalgamate of the best parts of various games.
you also forgot to mention the factor x that will contribute to its longevity: the gamemaster. the one dev who plays god and will constantly add and change rules and stuff in the game to keep it fresh.
and also, youre very right: bugs are for starters - the real action and horror was with the automatons. nothing more terrifying than being on a night mission, super dark environment and suddenly everywhere red lights show up. SO

as a man with no friends ;) i played solo to test myself and with randos and yeah....ive experienced a lot of stuff, actually even getting backstabbed before entering the extraction ship, so i stayed on the planet and got less rewards. my tip: real friendly randos with whom you have great fun? friend request and so you will find your crew after a while.

I hate when people get upset when devs allow you to buy stuff. "Im mad because they put up a store"
