I just decluttered my closet, I think that I got rid of five bags full of clothes, handbags, coats, jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, tees and shoes. Wow I can now actually walk into my closet. The funny part about it is that I’m not done yet.. now that I can actually walk into my closet, I’m going to do another sweep just to make sure that I have gotten rid of everything that I just don’t wear . I must say that I feel so much better about removing these items from my life and my home, you will too. Once I put something in the bag it’s gone goodbye . I know how you feel when you said how good it now feels to walk into your closet. Well done

I did a huge closet declutter. I decluttered so many of my clothes. I had plastic hangers and I decided to buy slim hangers. That was a game changer in my small closet. At the end of each season I look to see what I can donate.

Maybe you can get a shoe storage rack for your shoes and other footwear. You did a great job!

You have done a beautiful job! May I suggest color organizing each group based on the rainbow. White, pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, ingego, violet, brown, grey, black. It makes putting together an outfit super easy.😊 And I found that shower curtain rings work really well for indicating a separation between groups of things. And you can write on them if you need to like for kids sizes etc.

I gutted mine last year and got rid over half my shirts. It was nice to have space and room to hang coats and storage boxes again.

A shelf divider or a bin laid sideways will keep your upper stack from falling over. 😀

New subscriber here, I'm so glad I've found this video on the suggestions. I struggle so much to discard some stuff like any old clothes that can't be donated or nicer paper clutter like magazines/catalogues or even just some clothes stores flyers. I usualy put stuff I declutter in bags like you've did, but I leave them in the garage forever instead of either decluttering things righ away in the regular trash or at least just dump the bag for real haha. But I very rarely seen someone filming while discarding clothes so it gives me motivation. Mosst people only film the clothes they donate, but do the rest off cameras, but it's easy for me to declutter the clothes I can donate so I'm happy I could find some motivation in your video. I hope I'll find more like this and maybe one with the nicer paper. Even if it's not a declutter, but just few random things you find around while cleaning, I always look for motivation for this 😇

New to your Chanel . I find looking at photos of me in outfits on my phone helps me get rid of things . I was 3rd girl definite hand me downs I understand the buying more than we need keeping it for longer because of growing up with not much money . I have found giving to a women’s shelter or freecycle to people that need things has helped me. I also put tags on the hanger of things I’m not sure on use or loose . Once you’ve done the first pass it does get so much easier.

I don't know your reason to declutter, but for me is every time something big happens in my life and turned it upside down, the first thing i do is declutter and clean. It my coping strategies to situations I cannot change. And every 10 years my style changes as well as I find myself in new place.
