I do have 2021 BMW X3 and 2019 BMW X1, I love X1 more than the X3.
The X3 look nice from the outside but feel to small when you inside the car.
While the X1 front view much wider, feel bigger and space inside. You can feel better power acceleration on X1 than the X3 because of the weight.

The X1 technically has slightly more cargo space than the X3 on paper. I was very surprised to see that.

X1 actually looks a lot better and proportionate than X3

The X3 has a longer bonnet because it has to allow for the size of the inline 6 cyl engine, whereas the X1 only goes up to the 4 cyl engine. This means when you have the 4cyl in either the X1 or X3 (as most people do), the X3 is needlessly long on the front end, and because of this, they made the cabin slightly shorter than the X1. So you get a longer more difficult car, with less space inside for people? Oh and with the same 4cyl engine (20i 25i) etc its slower because its heavier?

I am very underwhelmed by the X3 base Hi-Fi system, my 228i Gran Coupe sounds so much better with the same setup

The X1 also seems better as its height is little lower and it wont have that SUV kind of bulky handling. SUVs also make u a bit more sick and nauseous. X1 is a worthy SUV indeed. But for extra space it is the X3.
