I have the 2020 X1 Xdrive and love it! Great handling, great acceleration, stops on a dime, love the black sensatec interior, panoramic moon roof, and ambient lighting. The large touchscreen is awesome as well as the infotainment controller knob. Great cargo space for a small SUV. And I love that it looks like an SUV, not like a hatchback like some other models in its class. Fun car to drive and also great looking!

Leasing a base model BMW X1 2021. Love it so much I might just buy it at the end of the lease.

I enjoy your videos. Hope you review the Audi Q3 as well. I might wait for next year's model and hope they put in blind spot monitoring on this BMW. I hear it might be 5 or 6 inches longer next year as well in 2023. Along with a larger screen. Maybe a digital cockpit too.

fun fact the x1 is actually technically bigger than the X3. Because of it's raised cabin it has 62 litres more cargo space with the seats lowered than the X3. It's not much but something to note. I would have thought for sure that the X3 would have offered a significant amount of more cargo space, but having test driven both of them, I can confirm that they both look the exact same size wise on the inside. I actually thought the X1 was slightly more spacious to sit in the drivers seat than the X3, but then again it was so similar that I found myself trying to look for differences.

For size the biggest difference between the X3 and X1 is the .8 inch of ground clearance that you get with the X3.

How is the noise insulation? Has it been improved from 2020? I went from F30 to G20 3 series, and the sound insulation is significantly improved. Am looking for a X1 for the wife but was thinking to wait until the all new G series X1 to be released in next few years if my wife's old car can still stretch her old legs a bit more...

I’m ordering one in February. Not a fan of digital gauges. It’s why I’m ordering an X1 over its competitors...This SAV is the driver’s choice, akin to BMW’s motto - The Ultimate Driving Machine (for smaller SAVs). Nice job!

I’m currently using an X1 S. Replacement here in Japan and we love it, it’s especially epic because they have diesel here in Japan.

I paid 34, 000 for my 2018 X1 S Drive with premium package (heated seats, navigation, parking assistance, etc). The 2018 models didn’t have radar cruise control because they had an issue with it back then, but that’s the only thing I wish I had extra. There’s no way I’d pay over 40, 000 for an X1, but at 34, 000 it was a no-brainer

By the way, sir, the X1 is not the smallest SUV in BMW's lineup, the X2 is; The BMW X2 is a sportier take on crossover driving. It sits 2.8 inches lower than its X1 sibling and is 3.2 inches shorter in length as well. Appearing more coupe like than the BMW X1, the design is more sculpted and athletic. By comparison, the X1 is noticeably taller in the back and has a bigger cargo hold.
