Finally, I get an explanation on the difference between a curved trowel and a "Finishing" trowel and their specific uses. Now I know I need to buy a finishing trowel in addition to a curved trowel. Thank you so much.

Nice video, I use a curve too for first coat, curious how you use them on butt joints ? I like to split both sides first with 90 if they're bad, then fill the middle when it sets. I find I get the flattest joint by doing it that way.

Curved actually lays flat if you use it as intended.
