User Defined Symbols in Scatter Plot

Besides built-in symbols that Origin provides for scatter plots, you can choose a marker from symbol font, or create your own symbol in other application. The symbol you create must be no greater than 16 x 16 pixels and must be black & white only. If a bitmap is larger than 16 x 16, Origin will display only the upper-left corner of the bitmap. Any color used in the bitmap will display black (even gray tones are converted to black)
