I am in northern Idaho (zone 5). I have a cold frame that I am using. To give the plants extra heat at night I use gallon jugs of water stored in the cold frame. During the day they heat up in the sun, at night they give off the heat. IF I think the night weather will be too cold, I will fill up the jugs with hot water before night time. Works like a charm!

I'm from Norway and I love your videos 😃 I started planting last year after a tomato viedo you made. I was so inspired that I built a greenhouse. It's empty and now I'm going to fill it up :) Sorry for my bad English... Thanks for everything you make and everything you share with the rest of us 😀

Greetings from Michigan, zone 5b. Our anticipated last frost date is May 22nd. I've started onions, hyssop, spearmint & celery root seeds indoors and started all of my pepper seeds on a heat mat using your technique with sandwich baggies. Thanks for all you do and happy growing everyone! 🌱

Hi there, I'm Ray in 5B with my last frost date being Mother's Day (no one pays attention to the actual date, it's just the holiday weekend). From L.A. now between Denver and Boulder, CO and I have struggled for years, mostly succeeding with weeds. I did have some success with 2 flower beds last years. I found your YouTube and have been quite inspired!

THANK YOU, Central Virginia, zone 7a or 7b, depending on where you're standing at in the yard...lol. Farmer's Almanac says our last frost date is usually April 15th but we've had frost later than that. Last Mother's Day, the high was 42 for us and the low was 30. I learned the hard way not to put plants out too early here.

Hello, I'm in Blanchard, OK Our last frost is between March 1st thur the 30th. I just found you a few weeks ago and have learned alot watching although I've been a plant lover and grower since 1970. Thank you for your expertise. I've gotten smarter on what to plant and grow opposed to what I want but it's not hardy enough to make it here in our climate. I cant wait to get my hands in the dirt. Today I went plant shopping and bought alot to put out and enjoy. I'm using the milk plastic carton to germinate my seeds this year and try a couple of tub planters and 2 litter plastic pop bottles for growing tomatoes in upside down.

I am in Northern California Zone 9B. Last frost date was March 28. I started tomatoes on January 21 and they are ready to be planted. I need to harden them off when the rain subsides. Thank you for the video and the worksheet. Your videos are always helpful.

Central NH, zone 5. Last summer I added lettuce to my front deck flowers facing west. I picked lettuce most of the summer.
