Her fathers previous involvement with law enforcement and his connections in the department is what saved her ass.
At one point her father interrupted to ask "if he confesses that's it, right, the investigation will be over". Parents are only allowed to accompany minors during questioning, he shouldn't have been present, but that question made it clear to me that a deal had already been made with her AND that Cris was definitely going to deny her involvement, etc....
She disgusts me and I feel like she's getting away with murder.

Not only that, she googled Shannan and Chris both by name months before she worked at Anadarko with Chris. It really looks like she targeted them for whatever it was she did.
