You know that Mephisto is just going to be an NPC, right? You trade your HP for loot, or if you're particularly daring, you can REBOOT your squad for all but 1 of your HP! Mephisto isn't an ACTIVE villain, he's a villain enabler. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT TAKING OVER THE WORLD BECAUSE THAT'S NOT THE GAME HE'S PLAYING!
