Saved kids life. And it wasn't a cheap sensor that detected the kid in front of the car. It was camera / AI that anticipated the kids behaviour when it still was on the other lane. Other cars with legacy sensors would have hit the kid with 15mph or more. Kid wouldn't stand up byitself then.

I used to drive for a living and the amount of women who let there kids run like this will blow you mind, I had 1 kid run out with her hands over her head yelling stop,
I got stopped and run to the front of the truck thinking I hit her for sure
She was standing there holding the bumper smiling and said '' good job you stopped so close and hold you on to the car '' Then MOM comes out saying Good job baby you stopped another one lets go hide again''
I called the cops and Childs aid and showed them the video
I have seen women put storlers infront of cars so many times and just last week we had another 1 hit by a car after mom stepped out from between parked cars pushing the baby first,
When it's the dad he 90% of the time grabs the child and slaps it and makes sure the child understands

It looked as if this caregiver was trying to catch the child. I work with autistic children. Many times autistic children are oblivious to road safety and danger. Don’t judge a clip when you have no idea the full situation. Give grace! Easier said than done I know.

Teslas have the smart ability to sense dangers before they happen. But can’t really sense something behind something. So the Tesla did its best but in worst situations I’ve seen teslas provide comfort and safety towards the driver and others Involved.

How you would not spot it??? Its in font of you in your field of view, tesla here have maybe 200-400 ms advantage. I don't negate tesla technology but in this case it didn't du much. Not to mention if he wouldnt turn right, he wouldn't hit her

The parent was wrong the driver was wrong and although the lil girl survived, where are they getting that it didn't provide "Any Harm" because you can see the little girl get hit grab her back/butt and start crying

Of course, you blame everybody with the driver who should’ve been looking at the road. I’m sick of everybody, letting driver’s off the hook, because they can’t be bothered to do the most basic thing, which is look at the road.
