I get the intuition but how can one prove that non-pivot columns correspond to free variables?

How do i proof that Matrix A=B, given that they are in RREF and they have the same row space.
Btw A, B from M(m*n)(K) and K is a field.

In german we call this Zeilen-Stufen-Form which directly translated means. Rows-step form.

Can't you use strong induction on A and use it on the mx1 matrix so that then B=C?
