Super original and well documented 1985 Ford F150 4x4 pickup

This is one of the nicest examples of a bullnose era Ford pickup I have seen aside from restorations and museum pieces.

I picked up this truck a couple months back, knowing it was a one owner rig, but not just how nice it was overall. A pretty decent percentage of the vehicles I buy have some sorta literature or documentation in the glovebox but this truck, it has it all. From a historical standpoint especially that is awesome.

My FIL had a red/white one maybe 10 yrs ago. It was just a 2wd and in similar shape. He only bought it to bring stuff to the dump and rarely use it. I forget if he sold it or scrapped it. Can't believe these things (or myself) are considered old now.

I bought a 94 Ranger brand new with my first job. Drove it for 5 years then backed it in my garage with 64k miles. Still looks like new. My time machine.

That is a very nice looking truck for sure, XLT Lariat, ext cab plus 4x4 is very very good options including a 351w V-8, couldn’t go wrong with it one bit and seems to be only missing an F-150 emblem on the passenger side, funny thing is that I have a 80-86 F-150 emblem sitting in my emblem collection saved from a 84 that met the crusher from frame rot

Ive got its twin only a 1990. Same paint but have a bench seat im front. Interior is like new and its rust free and zero body damage. All original paint with patina on roof and hood. Best part is the 7.3 IDI diesel and 5 spd manual trans. 103k 1 owner texas farm truck. A full resto is underway. Will still out lsst any new trucks!

I would love to have another Ford pickup as I had a 1975 Ford F150 Explorer Custom, 1986 Ford F150, 1990 Ford F150 XLT Lariat Shortbed, 1997 Ford F150 XL. Chevy or Dodge would be great also. I need an older one without all the sensors and expensive parts to replace as I want to do my Christian Ministry where I would call groceries and clothes and a lawn mower after grass needed to cut Etc

I'd by it not sure how good the 4x4 would work or the the multiple fuel pumps but it's a real truck not plastic

110k miles in 40 years? That should run for at least 500k miles
Enjoy and hand it down to your kids.

Back when trucks were trucks, not overengineered, gargantuan minivans with beds attached.
