Bird is like the Messi of Basketball. He could take one look and knew where everyone is, was, and was going to be in the next 5 seconds.

Most basketball names will fall away into oblivion . Larry's name will live on in the minds of basketball lore forever. Few people talk about Havlechek anymore, but he achieved greatness in his game. Larry was special because you can see the determination in his face and actions throughout the game.

The more I watch Larry the more I appreciate him...like Magic said...there will never be another Larry Bird..there was never or will there ever be anyone that will match his skill or will..he is the greatest all around basketball player we will ever witness..with his Hussle, skill, IQ, and unselfish play..there is no comparison

As a kid I used to hate Larry Bird because I was a Lakers fan but now that I'm older I wish he was still playing in this era because I realize now that I was watching greatness.
