Canada to send more troops to Latvia, says defence minister

Defence Minister Anita Anand says Canada is working hard with NATO allies to fulfill the commitment made to send additional troops to Latvia as part of an effort to dramatically increase the alliance's military presence in that country.

Battalion is 300-1000 soldiers. Brigade is 3000-5000 soldiers.
Currently our group has 1900 soldiers of which 1200 are Canadian. Basically Canada and other NATO allies need to find another 1100 soldiers somewhere.

Next time please do a follow up interview with a retired general or something so we can get some real context not just political blathering.
