Hi There, I have a set of XTorque from Sydney Tools. I'm only a DIYer but they seem to be good so far.

I've found them damn handy when needing to run a cable down a door frame for a strike, and just don't have the access from the top and I can't make a hole that will allow a step-up.

Wack it onto an extension or two.

They've made a hole every time I needed them to!

Can get adjustable 1/4 shank drill bits to fit 1/8 and up a few just loosen and tighten with shifter from total tools so if the bit snaps just swap a new one in

Put the first one I bought, a 7.5mm on the pilot hole, lubricant added etc, pulled the trigger on the impact low and slow setting, first BLAT of the impact drill bit broken

The most popular ones in the UK is probably the Bosch blue coloured multi-construction drill bits. Very hand to also have your metal, masonry, wood bits combined into 1. Obviously doesn't do any better than a dedicated bit, but surprisingly effective!

3.5mm for rivets into gutter and flashings all go ok, all go blunt kinda quick

😂i have an old set too... only 1 had this problem. take a flat blade and tap it with a hammer....worked for me!
Side note: some of their bits were dull out of the box. Not their best product.

Got to say Bosch 1/4” impact collet drill bits are def the best - milwaukees are great and all for any size larger than 3/16”. Any size smaller instantly snaps. But the Bosch are Hd af! Check ‘em out!

Found them to be slightly inaccurate unless punching where you drill and the apprentice flogged out 2 on my sets because the impacter is an impacter 😅. But quick and easy to have in the bag when you aren't planning on drilling and need a couple holes. Also if I'm drilling stainless I'll spray with inox. Works a treat.

Although I have gone back to the standard type shank as there are better quality options available. Just got some Sutton Viper Plus's, amazing quality!

The shit thing about them is I’ve twisted and bent my 12/13 mm ones when the bit has grabbed in my material :(

I have the new milwaukee ones. Theyre great. They're a little hard to get out of the red storage box.

I also use the alpen multi material ones. They're absolutely the bomb.

Just heat it and pull the old bit out and araldite a new one in, or the old bit if you want

I keep them loose in a pocket on my bag. Just carry my impact. No need for drill for e.d.c.

Snappy Tools make the best ones. Made in the USA 🇺🇸 But of course they do cost a lot more than the cheap chinesium crap made by the Big Red brand

New milwuakees are dope man. All my boys run em in the vans. That being said, we don't use impact drivers. We all run milwauke 12v hex drill drivers

Not impact rated... 🤦‍♂️
Use a drill driver for ALL drilling..
If you use the clutch properly you don't even need an impact 90% of the time..
