Hex Shank vs Round Shank: What's the Difference?

The shanks matters when it comes to drills and impact drivers. Round shanks are great for drills as they are very common and easy to use but hex shanks offer a much better grip because of their shape. ⠀

In this case, we needed a quick solution to remove rust so we decided to use a wire brush wheel with a hex shank which also quick-connects to impact drivers. This led to a quick set up for an even quicker solution or changes wheels often.⠀
