Not having kids means I have more time, energy, and resources to use enriching myself and helping other people who already exist in the world. Also the thought of being pregnant and especially giving birth terrifies me.

Spaniard here, 64 years old childfree by choice, my husband is also from European Union, the cases in Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria... are the same except for Britain ( not considered totally European for most of us) Reasons: cost of living, the world is fucked up, pollution everywhere, we've seen throughout history how all civilizations rise and fall, ours is falling down the hill pretty fast. Believe me, everybody talking about that

I’m surprised no one said that bringing life into this world is quite simply bloody selfish!!! Love is NOT enough!! You need a lot of money to provide shelter, warmth, food, clothing, medical supplies and loads more. And even THEN, there’s no guarantee of a happy life for this child! We’re being told we’re going to “own nothing and be happy”. The elites want to shut down all travel, eating meat and buying new clothes just for starters.

Bringing children into this is just cruel and selfish! Do a video asking for just ONE selfLESS reason to have a child. There aren’t any! Every reason people give is to benefit THEM! Not the child!

The one that hit me was the woman saying "there's so mich stuff I want to do in this short life, having kids just doesn't make the list". I feel like whenever I glance at the possibility of having kids, I never truly ponder the fact it takes away 20 years of freedom.

When I talk to friends, I don’t understand why it’s so hard for them to grasp when a person doesn’t want children. Therefore I chose to be in a relationship who did not want children either. Honestly I enjoy my freedom and the money I am earning as well.

You know how some people just have that "itch" to have babies? My husband and I don't have that. No shade to anyone who does; we both believe parenthood is a noble job. We just weren't called to pursue that job, and that is totally okay! We do, however, feel a fire in our hearts whenever we hear about kids or people suffering. As a Christian couple, we believe if we were supposed to start a family, God would've given us that desire. We both are on career paths where we use our gifts daily. It's fulfilling and we feel blessed to be able to do it and come home to peace and quiet. Having kids of our own just doesn't cross our minds. We don't feel like anything is missing. We're content with the life God has granted us. 🙏 I just wish our families understood that and didn't focus on what we don't have. 😢
