It all makes sense now. Since fox are a rare species now he had stolen your cub to trade for the medicine but not for him but for his family. He stayed up all night every night to try and hunt down food for his daughter, the only thing left he had but when she died he just didn’t have snything anymore. I genuinely feel so bad and it really makes you think that the scavenger isn’t some bad guy he’s just a somebody trying to keep his family alive, the only thing he lived for and once he lost that…

If you observe closely the scavenger wanted to sell the Pup but Molly protested.

My theory is that the scavanger wanted to have the pup and wait until it was big enough to sell his fur, similarly how he tried to hunt Mama Fox. I had the hope he will grow attached the pup and maybe use him as a hunting companion, but I'm happy Tod is back!
Poor Molly though :( mama fox can relate what is like the pain to loose one of your children

So far this has been the most bittersweet slow burn ever Molly died scavenger died apparently his son died along with his wife( I didn’t even know he had a son) but I really do love this series and I can’t wait to see the ending of Endling

I abandoned everything I was doing as soon as I got the notification. Who knew a game about cute little foxes would be so emotionally grueling? Great episode as always; and I'm so happy that we finally found Todd!

I feel quite bad for the scavenger, his only family member who survived, died. That gave him the sense that the mother fox felt when he stole her cub/pup/kit. I think he was giving up his hunting days, feeling the grief of Molly's death. It makes me feel very upset. The scavenger was trying his best to help Molly, himself, and Todd. But he realized, he probably wouldn't make it with Todd with him, so he returned Todd to Seri. Once the mother fox saw that the Scavenger was grieving. She decided to mourn with him, since Molly had shown them so much compassion. She nuzzled against the Scavenger cause she then understood he was doing all this, for her.

I don't normally comment but this was bugging me too much. I don't think seri realized the father/scavenger did not commit suicide... The axe that's buried in the man's chest belongs to the Furrier. He was obviously murdered... Also, she should of kept playing as the next episode will be extremely short since she's so close to the end. (Watched another playthrough). Love your videos Seri. Always watching from the shadows and you have inspired me to play these types of games. Starting with Niche. As well as was a WQ fan before I found you.

When you find out that The Scavenger is not a bad guy at all. Just a man that was trying to help his daughter anyway he could. In the end Molly helped both Mama and her lost pup at the cost of her own lie as well as mama fox forgave the Scavenger for taking her pup and comforting him as well in his time of grief.

Wow you are lucky that you were able to luck out with the trash when you did. You were also very lucky to find that chicken to buy you enough time or else your pup would have died. And to top it off the badger mom gave you a berry that filled you up again.

It’s incredible how lucky you were to keep your pups alive this video.
