Rabbi, you remind me of my second grade teacher in the early 80s who was an Orthodox Jew teaching in a secular school here in Canada. He was super kind and a great teacher. That year, I also remember a Jewish organization run by Orthodox rabbis coming to my school during Purim (a school which had a lot of Jewish students because of the neighborhood it was in) and giving little boxes of hamantashen to every student regardless of their ethnicity or religion. I dont think you would ever see such a kind act today. Too many divisions in society. So many hearts have been hardened. But co existence is possible, everywhere, including Israel. Best wishes.
