no other game I have heard of kept improving and nerfing the same weapon back and forth so quickly and so often. The worst part is, this is a PVE game! there is no power creep, and there certainly isn't a bunch of people complaining about weapons being overpowered. So the rationale behind their decisions is just baffling.

I'm an ex-player with 280 hours in the game. I got sick of the nerfs in the end. I held on, and held on, but the game just keeps getting worse. The power fantasy it had on release and in the first months is gone, eroded away as each patch was released. Promises were made to stop this and course correct, and that's not happened. I've plenty of other games I can play, and have gotten more than my money's worth in time playing, so I'm done. I feel sad though, as I loved this game.

It's amazing how the the AH devs have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

I have to say, the players just ignoring all the enemies and letting them desrtoy earth would be a huge fuck you to the devs. It basically says, "we don't want to play your shit game anymore, play it yourself". Absolute massive blow to the developers egos.

They're acting like this is a competative PvP game when this is a cooperative PvE game.

Not a surprise this happened, we told AH to fire baskinator, remove purplepigeon, remove a mouse, & the furry who got clowned on for abusing their power. Did they listen? NOPE. We told AH to reinstate all players from the countries who were barred from downloading HD2. Did they listen? NOPE. We told them to remove the PSN requirement. Did they listen? NOPE.

I stopped playing after their Community Managers went off of their power trip on the discord server because obviously Arrowhead can't listen to their playerbase & would rather protect their fragile egos & their racist & sexist woketard Community Managers & moderators. Well off to play Space Marine 2, but seeing the taint that has festered in GW it seems that game too after some time will fall.

The majority of the problem is in the discord of AH where the community manager and admin are actually activist keep suppressing banning people outright for all the wrong reason and opinion in their eyes

Uninstalled a couple days ago. They'll never change. They'll continue to reduce magazine and round capacity and increase overheat time etc until this game goes into the grave.

The balance team is responsible. There’s no excuse to nerf the flamethrower stratagem. None. It was never over powered. In fact its drawbacks were very apparent and that’s why bot players would never use it unless they were trolling.

As someone who has played plenty of pve/coop driven games as well as full pvp games, no, any reasons devs give for "rebalancing" things in games that have no pvp or the pvp mode uses different gear entirely are just excuses. They're trying to control what gear people use and how they use it, no other reason. Bungie and Digital Extremes both have a long history of doing this sort of thing, and rather than increasing variety as they claim, they always substantially reduce the pool of how many different ways you can successfully play their games. Reasons are always excuses, explanations are always obfuscation.

Helldivers 2 is a great example of developer arrogance and thinking they know what the player base wants more than the player base, in fact they disregard the player base opinions. Easiest way to kill your game.
