SIMPLE removal of a security tag with a Neodymium MAGNET!!!!

Removal of a retail security tag that was left on my purchase. Stealing is wrong and illegal and this video in no way advocates any illegal behavior.

Please use this only as a convenience in order to avoid going back to the store.

The magnet used I bought from a science store. It’s incredibly strong and can cause injury.

Definitely works with the magnets for me. I went to Ross and purchased a jacket with the sensor left on it. The cashier would not remove it. She said it wasn't the kind of sensor from their store. I had my receipt also. Thank you for this video. I ordered my magnet from Amazon.

The trick is to first use a neodymium magnet like he is, but what worked for me was to first push the little pin in pretty hard while the magnet is on the other side. Then it disengaged and came out

Don't just take it off, put it in someones clothes in a clothes stores.

What he fails to tell you is they figured that out way back in the day! I'm talking about the stores the retail stores that sell the merchandise that require a tag like this! They now have alarms in them that you activate if you try to use the magnet! Because the only way that you can take that tag off is what the tool that they use to deactivate the alarm inside that little tag! Not only that now they have little metal strips that they put in merchandise and you don't know where they're at and the other way you can deactivate those is by the cashier scanning it over the deactivating pad! But by all means go ahead and try it see what happens
