Elon Musk in China: Entrepreneur looking to expand Tesla deals

Tesla's chief executive, Elon Musk, is in China on what's described as a high-stakes business trip.
The entrepreneur has met Chinese foreign and trade ministers.
The Biden administration is pressing US and multinational companies to move production outside of China, but Musk is expanding operations in country, which is the world's biggest electric vehicle market.

Before Trump took office and started a trade war with China, China is quite content with US leading the world. It just focuses on manufacturing and technology development. The market is huge n the economy of scale is 2nd to none.

Correction: US is encouraging its so-called allies to decouple with China whereas US itself is increasing engagement with China. On the other hand, China is actually decoupling with US at a steady rate. When Australia was persuaded and encouraged (by the US) to go to trade war with China, US then quickly filled the market share Australia had lost in China on wine and wheat.

Slashing prices is counterproductive. Only gives the impression that you were overcharging your consumers.
