He makes a valid point though. I think what he is trying to say is that it's futile to try and compete with a computer in narrow bands in which computers excel, like quick computation and logic based reasoning, since their code is built upon the same thing. He's trying to say that humans are more creative than computers. But, its probably only a matter of time before AI takes over that as well since they are increasingly operating with more degrees of freedom as Elon puts it later in this dialogue.
