It has a very sharp initial launch, then there's a lag around 40-50 mph when the ICE kicks in, then it flies again with no lag. This is just for pure 0-60 acceleration.

When I got my Clio I missed the audio controls on the steering wheel which my previous Seat had, but the downside to this is that when turning the wheel, trying to access audio controls is confusing as they are moving around in front of you. Having them fixed at the side behind the wheel means you always know where they are and can reach and adjust them irrespective of where the steering wheel is.

My family have been Renault fans since the 80’s and the remote control for the stereo is absolute genius. I prefer the steering wheel to do its job, steer.
If it were your choice, Clio or 208? Love my little French 🇫🇷 supermini’s

Things the Techo doesn't have, Heated mirrors. Adaptive cruise. Auto high beam. (May need to upgrade to Alpine to get some/all of these)

The transmission is a sophisticated 4 speed which engages without a clutch as a motor deals with synchronising the changes. No reverse gear as that is electric only. So like the Yaris (which uses a sun/planet system with 2 motors) there are no clutches etc to wear out so should be reliable long term

I'm in the process of buying one and I think it's exactly like the one you're driving, the techno hybrid version with 145hp. My question is: on your dashboard, it's a black background and I drove one where it was orange or green if I was on the eco driving. Is it possible to change it to black like you had? And the lights at night underneath the car. Is it from a certain pack? Thank you!

Did you know you don’t have to use the key to lock or unlock the vehicle just walk away and it locks automatically
