I immediately liked the video and subscribed after he finished the lumberjack analogy because it was so good that I only needed to listen to it a couple times to completely understand it, unlike Google which gave me a bunch of information that I had trouble understanding

Stuck between Ryzen 5 2600 vs R7 2700, want to get something decent to replace my junk i5-6400 because it's choppy at times even with only 1 game running. Reason why I'm stuck between those 2 processors is I want to try streaming a little, maybe make a youtube video here and there, smoother gameplay would also be a nice touch, but I'm afraid of getting an underpowered CPU like i cheaped out on the i5 when i started PC gaming. I also don't want to go overboard and spend way too much on something I wouldn't need, some advice from you would help greatly.


PS. Will checkout the upcoming 3000 series from AMD as well before buying any

What cpu and motherboard would you recommend for my son's set up. Currently he has a i5 7400 in I believe a Gigabyte b250 (ram speed 2400mhx max) asking with a GeForce 1070 gtx card. He likes all the usual games COD, Fortnite and the like. Bit of streaming and multi tasking as well. Running on a 1080 MSI 144 monitor.
