The most impressive thing about Mexican style. They still won’t tire even after eating a buncha bodyshots

Been living and training in Mexico 🇲🇽 love the energy here. Something I’ve noticed is the pace difference, when hitting pads here everything is just quicker, I’ve already increased my reaction time and the speed bringing my hands back to my fast which is very basic but very important. Mind you I’m a fighter, I’m still learning everyday

Oh and the sparring his is harder than in Thailand 🇹🇭. At least these are my experiences…harder sparring doesn’t mean better it’s just more likely to get concussion.

Skillr is always on point!

I found this breakdown of the Mexican Style very accurate. These fighters are true warriors, always moving forward and never backing down. As mentioned in the video, "they focus on inflicting damage, not just scoring points, " which is one of the most accurate descriptions of this style.

What I would have liked to see more is a deeper dive into their inside game strategies and tactics, such as their clinching and pinning techniques. Furthermore, it was an amazing video.

The comparisons between the amateur and pro stages were spot on! It provided a great point of comparison.

Shakur Stevenson breakdown one day, cheers!

One thing that I love about the Mexican style is that it's pretty much the style needed to beat taller people. The forward pressure and head movement to fight at your range, as well as the body shots to take away his legs which will keep you closer to him. The peekaboo may as well be a Mexican style 🤷🏾‍♂️

Best video I've seen on defining the Mexican style. I've seen too many people in boxing media say that Mexican style is just throwing crazy with no defense and that's simply not true.

Would love to see a breakdown on the Filipino style of boxing, I’d say it’s like the Mexican style, but instead of being focused on power, it’s focused on speed. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s much footage to be able to make a video on.

Would you say Golovkin had more of a mexican style under Abel Sanchez?

Oh, that's a good video! Learning and practicing the many boxing combinations is a key element in the training of any boxer. Each combination is a sequence of punches that can be used in different situations in the ring. Knowing a variety of combinations allows a boxer to be unpredictable to his opponent, making it more difficult to recognize intentions and react to punches. It also develops the athlete's coordination, reaction and tactical thinking, allowing him to adapt to different styles of opponents and increasing his chances of winning. The practical manual “400 Boxing Combinations” is a valuable resource for boxers of all levels, as it provides a wide range of combinations and techniques. By working with this manual, the athlete is able to systematically study and practice techniques, choosing the most effective and appropriate combinations for him. In addition, the structured approach offered by the manual helps the boxer to organize his training and track his progress. This keeps you motivated and engaged in the training process, and improves your overall understanding of boxing as a tactic and strategy.

My only "problem" (or whatever you wanna call it) is lack of heavyweight maxican boxers. But still loving this style of fighting. I try it couple time on traning but end up very bad ;) but on TV looks awesome
