At 3:23 you said the previous tutorial tell us how to add the air and the boundary, can i ask what is the previous tutorial?
and i am using HFSS to design the coil, can HFSS able to find the inductance of the coils?

Thank you professor @ Kamyar K for your valuable videos. I learned a lot.
I have a question. In my simulations, the material between coils is muscle but in other places around the coils is free space. How can I define a box with these two different material (free space and muscle) to simulate coupling coefficient???

Hi Kamyar,

What is the reason to bring the terminals out till region, will we not be able to solve this problem without bringing those terminals out (just for more understanding) ?

I found that error. How can I solve it?
[error] Illegal external terminal 'Rx2': An external terminal must border the edge of the problem region and coincides with the surface of a 3D object. (6:48:33 PM Dec 04, 2017)

I checked again there was no option for the terminals shape to be set for rectangular. I'm doing MSc and my project is wireless power transfer. Do you recommend any other software to do the simulation ??

I could not able to to create the terminal because i do not have the shape option.
I'm using v11.1. Do you any idea about it and how can i get this option in order to change the shape of the terminal ???

hi Kamyar,

i am feeling trouble in assign Air as an insulating material, after making coils. Act when i make coil terminals length touches to Air boundry then an error occurs "coil terminal crossing Air 3D Model".

when i decrease the length of coil terminals then error occur "there is excitation problem ".
i am v confused regarding these errors..as i removed 3D Model error then Excitation Error occur and vice verca.
plz suggest the solution, Thanx in advance.
