I got some secrets.

If you kill the lantern minibosses in chapter 3, the tall ones with glowing white heads that appear during the Red Eyes effect, they drop a lot of amazing loot. Mind Cores, a ton of XP and Will, and lastly a Mani Bead curio that gives you a critical chance buff when you're inflicted with Chilled State if you take them all down. Seems to cancel the whole red-eye debuff, too.

If you stand still while you have a companion in the second part of chapter 3, he starts talking. It actually explains a lot of the lore and backstory from Journey to the West that most players may be missing. He'll get mad if you move mid sentence, too.

You should note that the wall to get the Loong scales should be hit by the First Prince boss to open up. Alternately, you can use the Wandering Wright Spirit to headbutt that wall.

For Black Loong’s ground drumming attack you can stand on top of the rocks in the arena and they won’t hit you.

No need to dodge the shockwaves for the Black Loong, just stand on one of the boulders. I tried pillar stances, dodging and jumping, but could never get it right. But when I realised you could just stand on a rock, the battle became really easy

On the second hidden boss you can stand on rocks if they haven’t been broken when he sends out shockwaves…

Top tip for black long if you stand on the rocks while he does the electric music attack, the attacks can't get you 🎉🎉

The electric shockwaves are easy to dodge. When he starts the animation just just jump up on a nearby rock and they wont hit you. No dodging or jumping required

I've got a dodging build going on mixing the loong chest piece, galeguard hands and mask, then darkcloud feets to boost damage of unveiling strike with loong staff bc pillar main so far😂

No lie that thunder hit with the spear does damage. I was using that a lot until i unlocked the spear...it does hella damage in thrust stance and has its own set of different attacks than he has using a staff

3:10 you can just stand on the rock, it makes this fight 100× easier
